Still Around ...

LOL, Yes, I'm still around. Lurking for the most part. Reading ya'lls email updates.

Not a whole lot going on around here. It's nice, too. No drama, no excitement. Just dull and boring! Just the way I've grown to like it.

I've been on facebook, keeping up with relatives and a few friends who are over there. I even let a few friends talk me into joining "Farm Town". Ya, just what I need - another addiction!! I may even figure out how to play it one day.

So ... I'll be keeping up through email updates. Ya'll have a great weekend!

A Little Wing Nut ...

Personal Pizza

Description:
This is a fun to make pizza. With adult help, it is a kid friendly recipe!! It's extremely easy and takes only a few minutes of preparation time!

Ingredients:
Biscuit mix
Spaghetti or Pizza Sauce
Your favorite pizza toppings

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Mix biscuits according to directions on biscuit mix box. After mixing thoroughly add 1 tablespoon cooking oil. Mix well. This will prevent the dough from sticking to your fingers or other surfaces!

Line cookie sheet with foil and spray with a no-stick cooking spray. Or use a non-stick cookie sheet sprayed with a little no-stick cooking spray.

Separate dough in half. Then separate those halves in half again. And one more time!! This will give you eight little pieces of dough. Roll them into balls. Flatten onto prepared cookie sheet until they're about pizza crust thick. Flatten middle of each a little more (they will rise while cooking!!).

Top with the toppings of your choice.

Bake at 425 for 10 to 14 minutes, or until pizza crusts are done.

Enjoy!!

Been A While ...

.... so how are ya'll doing??

OMG!! I can't believe my last blog entry was on Memorial Day!! Been a while hasn't it?

Let's see ...

Got really involved in some heavy duty spring cleaning. Okay, I realize spring is almost over, but hey ... it's looking good around here. I actually have a shiny kitchen sink ... and counters, floors, appliances. And the rest of the house is looking good, too! All that's left to do is two of the bedrooms and I'll be a happy camper ... or a happy fly-lady. Yeah ... back to the Fly-Lady stuff around here.

It only took Single Son and I four days to clean, clean, clean. All that detail stuff that I'd put off during the school year.

It's been real easy to keep it clean. But then again, Married Son, DIL and Grandson are off house-sitting her parent's house. The mess makers aren't here!! When they get back they're not going to like me very much. All the new *rules* to observe ... like cleaning up after themselves, no dirty dishes left in the sink, and none of Grandson's toys left laying about for me to trip over (or spaz over either). They don't like the *New and Improved Rules* ... too damned bad ... there's the door. Close it on your way out!

I haven't even turned on the computer most days lately. On occasion, yeah, to see if I sold the book I have listed on half.com. Nope. Not yet. It's still for sale. Figure it will be for a while, it's getting close to summer break for everyone!! Who wants to think textbooks with summer looming sooooooo close-by?

Gee, besides cleaning, not a lot has been going on.

Finally figured out a name for the kitty I'm keeping. Spot. Yup ... a dog's name!! Well, he is spotted. Oh ... did I mention she's a he? I really flunked "identifying the gender of your pet" on that one!! Oy!! So ... Spot. Partly because he is spotted. But mostly because in the Star Trek show "The Next Generation" Data had a cat he called "Spot". Told you I'd find a Trekkie name for him yet.

So this is what happens if I'm sitting at the kitchen table and get up for any reason. I get my chair stolen by three little furbabies!!! I only got up to stir dinner, by the time I got back they were all sound asleep!! Grrrrrrr!

Oh ... I had to open a facebook account. Yes, had to open. Mom called me saying that Aunt Silly had said that Cuz had told her about a comment she had read on another cousin's facebook page (saying that my aunt had cancer - only no one knew about it until the facebook page was read). Mom wanted to know if I could find out more information about Aunt M. So ... I *had* to open an account and then invite the cousin to be a contact. So ... Aunt M had surgery today ... melanoma ... hoping they caught it all.

Anyone wants to add me to facebook let me know. I haven't played around too much on it so I have no idea what I'm doing yet.

Not a whole lot else going on.

Hopefully will get a chance to at least visit ya'll in the next day or two. Between cleaning those last two bedrooms that are just screaming to be done!!
