1) Decided to not go to the class get together at the bar tonight. I would have gone had there been at least one person on the RSVP list that I had associated with in high school. But as it stands, even though I remember a few of the names on the list, I had no interest in them back then, nor do I now.
2) Instead I've decided to head to the store for a rare treat - a bag of chips. I'll then pick a movie out of Single Son's room and spend the evening watching it. Who knows, I may end up in the middle of a movie marathon yet, LOL!
3) As long as I'm killing my carb intake today a pizza sounds really really good for dinner, too. Pizza, pop (diet of course, LOL), chips and a movie marathon with the cats. Sounds so much better than a night of drinking with people I barely remember!
4) OMG!! I just realized I'm turning into that Crazy Cat Lady. It's official! I *AM* the Crazy Cat Lady. Gawd help me.
5) Or am I a troll? According to Married Son I'm turning into a troll. He thinks I'd rather sit in my cave than go out into the *world* as he put it. Now I might agree with him, but I do have my outside activities that I love and look forward to. I just don't feel the need (like I used to) to have to find things outside the house to amuse me.
6) It's not that I don't enjoy going out into the *world*, I do. Guess it's just being so broke all the time has taught me I don't need to go spend money I don't have to keep myself entertained. Or busy. Heck, between school, the Star Trek club and other crap that's going on, I'm finding I'm enjoying my down-time this summer!
Well, that was fun. LOL ... I may actually keep going with the Saturday Six. That is, providing I have enough thoughts for the Ten Thoughts Tuesday *and* Saturday Six! LOL!
Off to get munchies and pizza!! I'm a baaaaaaaaaaad girl!!

ReplyDelete1) Yup, that's what I felt, too. That's why I'm home now. Taking a break. Watched some episodes of "COPS" on hulu.com. Just waiting until Married Son shuts up (we're on messenger right now, LOL) before I pull out the dvd.

ReplyDeletePolice Academy movies rock...I love the guy that does the crazy sound effects. LMAO...I think there's a lil bit of Troll in all of us. I wanted to get to this grad party this weekend, and after I was there and some of the relatives acted like I was invisible, I started thinking...I could be home, sitting on nice comfy soft cushion curled up reading Janet Evanovich instead of sitting on a hard picnic table bench.
