Sunday

Married Son and DIL found a nice little house to rent. They started moving in today. I went over to get the tour of the new place. It's adorable!! It's the prefect starter home!! I'm sooooo happy for them. This is their first place. No more living with parents - either her parents or with me.

It's a two bedroom ranch. Full finished basement. One of the things I love about the house is it's got a fully fenced in backyard. Perfect for Grandson to play in! Lots and lots of shade trees, too!

It'll be Wednesday before they can physically live in the house, though. Seems that the house had been unoccupied for almost a year. The owner turned the water off at both the curb and at the house. When he went to turn it back on Friday the valve in the basement burst as soon as he turned the water on! Water was everywhere! It'll be Wednesday before the plumber can come out to fix it. It'll give them time for moving everything in and have it all set up. They're hoping the basement is dry by next week so they can use it.

A nice organized move. LOL.

And on Wednesday they pick up the two older kittens. Missy Shamira and Shiloh finally have a new home to go to!!

Of course, the place was *trashed*, LOL. Boxes everywhere! The only picture I was allowed to take was of the front of the house. See all the boxes? Twenty of them to be exact, LOL ... that's how many Son and his Brother-in-Law got unpacked today while DIL worked. Many many more to go. That blue thing is his trailer gate.

  1. How exciting!! It's always fun to move into a "new" place. Sounds like the perfect place for grandson too. Can't wait to see more pics when all the boxes are unpacked. =)

  2. I can't wait until all the boxes are unpacked and I am allowed to take pictures. LOL! It's a cute place ... tiny, but they don't need a huge place right now.
